Condition

is most important to us. We only buy watches in fine Condition, whenever possible with 100 % original parts. At our WORKSHOPS we employ 4 experienced Master Watchmakers, that are able to do the most complicated repairs as well as a normal Overhaul. Whenever necessary, missing or broken parts are replaced with original parts only. All our watches are in perfect working Condition, completely overhauled, all functions working excellent. If you purchase a watch from Gisbert A. Joseph, you can be sure to be 100 % satisfied. Our watches go directly on your wrist, no further work needed, no problems, no disappointments etc.

Brand Background Information

is offered at a special Site, that we started to publish on august 19.th 2000. We are planning to offer lots of historical and technical information on all important and interesting brands. NOS

stands for New-Old-Stock, that means in "as new" condition, unused and unworn . These Watches are extremely hard to find. They normally are in the most perfect condition that you could imagine, even if the item is 50 or more years old, it still looks like brand-new. Of course, whenever needed, we carefully cleaned the Movement.

Measurements

are always made as follows: round Watches from the outside of the Case not including Crown or Pushers and rectangular or square Watches total length from lug to lug and width measured the outside Case from 3 o' clock to 9 o' clock position.

Guarantee

is 6 Months from Date of Receipt on any item bought from Gisbert A. Joseph. Vintage watches are not guaranteed to be waterproof, even if it is an old "Oyster" or a "Submariner", Non of our watches are guaranteed against misuse of any kind. Should you break a crystal, You may purchase one from us at our wholesale cost.

Return-Privilege

You may return your purchase for three full days after you receive it. Please advise us by email of your planned return, and the reason for the return. We will not accept the return of any merchandise that is not in the same condition as when we shipped it.

must be received before shipping. We accept VISA and MASTER Charge up to 2,000 USD. Foreign Buyers please note, that some Banks may charge a fee for use in a foreign country. Please call your credit card Company or Bank and ask. we also accept BANK WIRE, SWIFT, Money-Orders, POSTAL ORDERS, Cashiers Checks and Personal Checks. Repairs can be made free of charge within 6 Months from Purchase only on watches purchased from Gisbert A. Joseph. Please contact us via email, so that we can determine the return location address.

Conversions into other Currencies can be made easily by simply clicking on the CONVERTER at our left Navigation Side. All you have to do is put in the price in US $ and convert into any desired Currency for the actual CONVERSION RATE.

Shipping will be done as soon as we have the Money in our account. we will ship your Order to any country in the world the same day via UPS Express, perfectly packed and fully insured. Important Notice on Import Duties Import duties vary from country to country. In the United States, they are based on the individual values of the watch's components; the movement, the case, and the band. Our information indicates that U.S. import duty on watches we have shipped is approximately 2-3 % of the total declared watch value. We will be pleased to email you a componant breakdown of your purchased watch's value, so you may contact U.S. Customs for its estimated import duty. We do not control import duty charges. They are the responsibilty of the buyer and are not included in our value pricing.
